Domaine Thill Château de Schengen
Located in the picturesque village of Schengen, the Domaine "Thill "was formerly a family-owned estate created more than 80 years ago.
It is now managed by the "Caves Bernard Massard” but has kept the authentic character of the terroirs around Schengen. A major part of the vineyards now owned by the Domaine was bought from the previous owners of Château de Schengen, after World War II. The original label figures a drawing of the château by Victor Hugo. Traditionally Schengen was renowned mostly for its great Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc varieties from the "Markusberg". Due to an extension of the vineyard towards more chalky soils, today the Domaine also produces up-market Rieslings. We invite you to enjoy some rest on the banks of the Moselle River and discover the secrets of our cuvée "Victor Hugo - Cremant de Luxembourg" and of our great Luxembourg wines.
