On a section of the Betzder Panoramatour and partially over the Via Vera, this hike leads from Mensdorf up to the Widdebierg. Here you will see remains of quarries and traces of Roman times. The trail continues via Flaxweiler, past an old wash fountain, to Berg with its castle. From there the trail leads through the Feldmark past Betzdorf and Olingen. At the end of the hike through the villages of Roodt/Syre and Mensdorf you will reach the nature reserve “Brill”, a marshland along the river Syre.
