On the weekend of October 25 and 26, 2025, the cultural center Syrkus in Roodt-Syre will become a lively meeting place for crafts, music and community. For the tenth time, the Veterans of FC Syra Mensdorf and the association Hobbykënschtler Lëtzebuerg asbl are organizing this popular market. About 60 exhibitors will present their handmade creations, ranging from decorative items and creative gift ideas. Whether browsing, admiring or participating, there is something for everyone. The market is open on Saturday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The cultural program promises special moments. On Saturday at 2:00 PM, the official opening will take place in the tent with welcome wine and birthday cake. At 3:00 PM, Renée Reding will read from her book, followed by accordion music with Claude Paquet until 5:00 PM. On Sunday, another reading by Renée Reding is scheduled at 2:00 PM, followed by music from the duo GansAnders from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. At 3:00 PM, Fabienne Rausch will present her work. Creative workshops led by Cecvile Pondaen and Justyna Singh will take place on both days, offering a great opportunity to get involved and try something new. For culinary enjoyment, the veterans of FC Syra Mensdorf will serve grilled specialties, and a cozy coffee corner will invite guests to relax.
