Celebrating “Trauliicht” at the “A Possen” Museum

It’s a tradition! This year again, the “Trauliichter” will be lit at the “A Possen” Museum. On October 31, during our intergenerational workshop, young and old alike (children must be accompanied by an adult) can create their own “Trauliicht” with guidance from our mediator. Before turning the beets into “Trauliichter”, several steps must be followed: first, they are hollowed out, then a scary face is carved into them. Since hollowing and carving the beets takes a lot of energy, a delicious soup made from the leftover vegetables will be cooked together and served to regain strength. And don’t forget! Little visitors are welcome to come in costume to this workshop!
