This long-running hit show takes the audience on a captivating journey through two hundred years of Irish culture – presented in a fresh, lively and dynamic style. The hit show will be touring around fifty towns and cities across Germany.DANCE MASTERS! – Best Of Irish Dance tells the story of Irish step dancing through music and dance – beginning with the arrival of the travelling dance teachers (Dance Masters) in Irish villages and small towns some 250 years ago, right through to its international breakthrough thanks to a guest appearance at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest. Dance Masters is a tribute to the unbridled power of Irish dance. The show combines the fiery rhythms of traditional Irish music with the incredible precision of world-class Irish tap dancers. From the first tentative steps to furious, light-footed bursts of dance. Every scene is carefully choreographed to tell the centuries-old history of Ireland through dance. The dozen or so Irish tap dancers learnt their craft at the finest Irish dance schools. They leap, twirl and ‘click’ across the stage at breathtaking speed, accompanied by powerful live music featuring traditional Irish instruments and authentic Irish vocals. The scenery is accompanied by images of the Emerald Isle, projected onto a large video screen, which also showcases the intricate choreography live and to its best advantage. This hit show, produced and staged by Reset Production, promises two hours of authentic Irish step dancing, high-calibre dancing, sophisticated choreography and authentic costumes . The dancers are accompanied by live music and singing. The Irish band combines the sounds of guitars and violins with traditional pipes and authentic Irish vocals. For almost twenty years, DANCE MASTERS! – Best Of Irish Dance has been thrilling audiences across Germany – with over 750,000 visitors to date – and demand for this blend of traditional elements and modern entertainment shows no sign of abating. Tickets Tickets for this event can also be purchased at the box office in the Machera Cultural Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 PM to 7 PM. The evening box office opens 2 hours before the event.
