Introductory course: Dry stone walls

Dry stone walls provide valuable habitats for endangered plant and animal species, thereby contributing to biodiversity. The traditional construction of these walls is also part of our intangible cultural heritage, passed down from generation to generation, and helps shape our cultural landscape.

.

This introductory course will introduce you to the basics of dry stone walling. Marc Thiel, from the SIAS Biological Station, will lead the course.

.

Please register by 10 September by emailing m.thiel@sias.lu or by telephone on 34 94 10 33.
