Only some 20 km from the lively and polyglot capital of Luxembourg you will find the Luxembourgish wine garden that curls like a green ribbon along the Moselle. It is a gem nested between the great wine producing countries Germany and France. Inspired by their neighbours, the Luxembourgish winegrowers cultivate and creatively shape their own, elegant style of wine.
Enjoy a sparkling crémant, an elegant Riesling, a flowery Weiβburgunder (Pinot blanc) and Grauburgunder (Pinot gris), an exotic Gewürztraminer, a soft Rivaner and a full-bodied Spätburgunder and regional specialties such as Elbling and Auxerrois, as well as Spätlese (late harvest), Äiswäin (icewine) and Stréiwäin (straw wine) for dessert. It is quite unique to find such an abundance of flavours in such a small area.
Take a journey of discovery along the shores of the Luxembourg Moselle. The distance between Schengen and Wasserbillig is only 42 km, but you will be able to explore splendid river landscapes, historic winemaking villages combined with contemporary architecture, and a gastronomy with an exceptional blend of modern cooking art and local cuisine.
The local people, the "Miseler", are cheerful and outgoing and proud to show you their region.
WINE TASTE ENJOY & WINE CHEESE ENJOY!
