Miniature train “Millebunn”

The “Millebunn,” Olingen’s charming miniature train, is a popular family attraction, especially loved by children, in the Betzdorf municipality.

The “Millebunn”, a ride-on miniature train, offers a fun experience for children. Seated on the small open carriages, young railway enthusiasts can take a leisurely journey through the beautifully landscaped green surroundings. The approximately 350-metre track runs between "Al Millen" and the "Brasserie Monkel" in Olingen, providing fun for the whole family.

From May to November, the Millebunn operates every Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. During the summer holiday period, from 15 July to 15 September 2026, the miniature train runs daily (Monday to Sunday) from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Rides are free of charge for all visitors.

Private Booking of the Miniature Train

The miniature train can be booked exclusively upon request by institutions such as primary schools, nurseries, Maison Relais facilities, Club Aktiv Plus groups, scout groups, and similar organisations.

All rides are supervised and operated by a member of the municipal staff. To request a booking of the “Millebunn” miniature train, please complete the designated booking form.

Booking requests must be submitted at least two weeks before the desired date. A booking includes the presence of a municipal staff member and the operation of the miniature train for a maximum duration of two hours. Requests are processed subject to the availability of municipal personnel.
