The Fligermuseum showcases Luxembourg's aviation heritage and tells the story of aviation in Luxembourg since 1910.
The Aviation Museum is located in the heart of the thermal park of Mondorf-les-Bains, and takes you back to the pioneer era of aviation and lets you relive the major events of aeronautics from the past century. This museum as aims to be a first step towards a complete inventory of the country’s aviation history. The managers, all of whom are passionate aviation enthusiasts, constantly work to expand the museum’s range.
The museum pays homage to the thermal town of Mondorf-les-Bains, where the first flight in Luxembourg airspace took place, back in the year 1910. Without a doubt, this museum’s centrepiece is the “Klemm” a perfectly restored monoplane originally built in 1934. Its bright red wings are certain to catch your eye.
