Remich

The pearl of the Moselle

Remich, the pearl of the Moselle, is a tourist town characterized by a magnificent panorama of vineyards and dense forests that surround the city like an amphitheatre.

Along the Moselle, the probably most famous Moselle promenade invites you to stroll for 3 kilometres in the shade of the cherry trees. Cosy terraces, tasting of Luxembourg’s best wines, a boat trip on the river... Remich offers a broad range of activities for all target groups.

The historic old town, with its remains of the ancient fortress, the gate "Porte Saint Nicolas" in honour of Saint Nicolas, the patron saint of sailors, as well as the church, testifies to a turbulent past of the town.
