Local hiking trail MN1 - Päschtkräiz/Méchelsbësch

This extensive tour across fields and meadows offers the perfect setting for a relaxing day.

Start at the Centre Culturel Beaurepaire, then head northwest through the village, passing Cité Wangert and continuing along Kéiwee towards Jakobsberg to the Pest Cross. Continue to the farm track “Looch”, then head downhill through the “Schëtzwues”, following the Sauerbach stream to the “Méchelsbësch”, towards “Hongerbierg”.

After a large orchard, you reach a remarkable oak tree (“Décke Kuest”). Continue towards “Mëchelsbesch” in the direction of “Lex”, passing the current retirement home “Haaptmann's Schlass”, then towards Wollefslach back into the village.

You then cross the village, pass the church, and return to the starting point.
