Description
This hike is especially recommended for lovers of forest walks. The path leads over shady, gently ascending or descending trails through the oak and mixed forest of Berburg. You walk through the village and follow a paved path into the western meadow landscape up to Haaptmannsschlass and the chapel on Flur Lex. You will pass a spot with a thick oak tree, the so-called Décke Kuest, where five paths converge and follow the path to the forest edge at Hoombierg, where you can enjoy the beautiful view. Finally, you walk eastwards through the Berbuergerbësch past Celtic tombs back to Berburg.
